STARTS BEFORE THE CRISIS

Communicative crises cause significant economic damage – and what’s more, they can even damage the image of the company in the long term. In the struggle to achieve credibility among the stakeholders, crisis communication prevents fundamental damages and helps protect a company’s reputation.

Getting things right above anything else is not the primary objective of professional crisis communication. It must, above all, be credible. This is why crisis communication is mostly only an issue for lawyers. Image damages are frequently more permanent, and thus also more expensive, than legal defeats. A strategic crisis communication therefore begins before the crisis. It is proactive, explores potential hazards and weakness, carries out assessments and develops corresponding scenarios.

We help companies by providing a crisis manual tailored to their particular profile by preparing for any possible communications problems. This defines ready-made tools, language rules, competences and communication processes. We do, of course, also advise companies when a communications crisis has broken out and help them deal with it in a timely fashion.
